Some of the God of War III footage Sony showed during its Game Developers Conference 2009 has been leaked and is now available on the internet. Just a minute ago we reported that there were some more God of War III release date rumors.
It looks like Sony wants to release God of War III in its current financial year, so that means that we should be seeing it before March 2010. Most God of War games were released at the beginning of the year in Europe, so that would mean that God of War 3 will come out in February/March 2010. The Portugese version of Official PlayStation Magazine (OPM) reports that God of War III will come out in Autumn 2009 in Europe. Sony will announce the God of War III release date info during its E3 press conference.
GameTrailers has just launched the above video that shows the evolution of the God of War series. If you’re a hardcore fan of the God of War series, then you should definitely check it out. God of War newbs that would like to know the history of the game should definitely watch it too.
Analist Nick Williams expects a lot from God of War III. In his article at Gamasutra he says that ‘only’ two third of the people who want to purchase God of War III have a PlayStation 3, and that could be a problem fro the game. Not all people who really want to play God of War 3 will purchase a PS3 just to be able to play the game. Following up on the God of War III release date rumors Williams says that he expects God of War 3 to come out by the end of this year or early 2010. He says that Sony should drop the price of the PS3 by the time that God of War III comes out.

An article in a French video game magazine has revealed some new details on God of War III for PlayStation 3. The article reveals that the game works in 1080p and the game is said to have a stable framerate. The game won’t have any loading times, the game doesn’t use the SixAxis fuction of the PlayStation 3 controller. As expected there will be more new (sex)minigames in the game.
Sony Santa Monica is the studio responsible for God of War III. 60% of the developers working at this studio have been involved in the development of other God of War games. Developers Naughty Dog and Insomniac Games are also helping on God of War 3.
In a press release Sony Computer Entertainment America announced that both God of War III and MAG for PlayStation 3 are coming out in 2009. The press release doesn’t have a specific date for the game, but at least we have an indication now.

Everyone’s eagerly waiting for a release date for God of War III, but Sony doesn’t want to lose a word on the release date of the game. Many gamers think the game will come out in March 2010, but Sony keeps saying that they won’t announce a release date until E3 2009.
